The St. Louis Rams are not expected to be very good this season vs. NFL betting online odds but at least they have a favorable schedule. Three of their first four games this season are at home and that should give the Rams a chance to be competitive in NFL betting.
NFL betting online odds won’t favor St. Louis very often this season but they could be more competitive than they were a year ago. The early season schedule does help the Rams and they need to take advantage because their late season schedule is brutal. They have a tough three-game road trip at Denver, Arizona and New Orleans.
The Rams open up at home against Arizona on Sunday, September 12th and that is not an impossible game for the Rams to win. The Cardinals are 4 point road favorites with a new starting quarterback in Matt Leinart. It is not out of the question for the Rams to start 2010 with a win. They then go to Oakland for a game they should at least be competitive in. The Raiders are not a great team and it is another game that the Rams can win. They get two more winnable games at home in Weeks 3 and 4. They host the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks. Both of those two teams are decent but they are not considered among the NFL elite. The Rams then go to Detroit in Week 5 in another game they are capable of winning. Nothing will be easy for the Rams in NFL betting but at least on paper they have a chance to win in each of their first five games.
The Rams have tough game at home in Week 6 against San Diego but then they go to Tampa Bay for another winnable game. They follow that up with a home game against Carolina. That is another game in which they should have a chance. The 49ers have their bye in Week 9 and the party is over. They had better get their wins in the first eight weeks because they may not win in the second half of the season. They are at San Francisco in Week 10, host a very good Atlanta team in Week 11, go to Denver, Arizona and New Orleans in a three-game road trip and then come home to face an improved Kansas City team in Week 15. They then host the 49ers in Week 16 before finishing up at Seattle.
