Ravens Host Steelers in Renewal of Faded Powers and Rivalry Week 18

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

Following a 5-1 start and a landmark win over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens looked like Pro Football betting gold. And then Baltimore began December with an 8-3 record and a futures market favorite.  Then came the catastrophe.  Since December 12, quarterback Lamar Jackson has been sidelined with an ankle injury.  Backup Tyler Huntley hasn’t been able to jumpstart the Ravens offense.  Baltimore has lost five consecutive games and is on the brink of missing the playoffs.  On Sunday, the Ravens will host the equally disappointing Pittsburgh Steelers.  Once upon a time, this was football’s best rivalry.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens SBG Odds Overview

On this occasion, we have two offshore betting choices that gamblers are wary of.  Neither the Steelers nor the Ravens have much trust left with the betting public.  Thus, the betting action for this game will fall under traditional splits.  Squares will take the home favorite Ravens.  And Sharps will prefer the road dog Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers Team Overview

Last week the Steelers beat the Browns 26-14 as 1-point home dogs. The game went under the total of 43.5.  As a result, Pittsburgh is 8-7-1 straight up, 7-9 against the spread, and 6-10 over/under. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has announced this is “likely” this final season.  Although he left some wiggle room in that statement, he probably should hang it up.  Big Ben is battered from 18 years in the NFL.  Fashion that he is a probable Hall of Famer.
