49ers Use Old School Playbook to Make NFC Championship Game

Last year the San Francisco 49ers opened as the betting on NFL futures market favorites to win the NFC. But the 2020 season was a catastrophe from the start. After records of 6-10 and 4-12, Shanahan broke through in 2019 with a 13-3 record and NFC Championship. In the Super Bowl against Kansas City, the 49ers seemed to have the game in hand before falling victim to Patrick Mahomes’ magical ways in a painful defeat.

Shanahan’s success has been tied to Garoppolo. When Jimmy G is healthy, they win together. When Jimmy G is out, it’s a disaster.

San Francisco 49ers Key Players

Jimmy Garoppolo began his career as a backup to Tom Brady with the New England Patriots. Since arriving at San Francisco, he has had tremendous Betting on NFL highs and lows.
