Los Angeles Rams SBG Betting Odds Overview

At the beginning of Super Bowl week, sportsbook betting saw the Rams as the public’s favorite choice. Los Angeles won a lot of skeptics over with their strong playoff season. Consecutive comeback wins over the Buccaneers and 49ers showed the betting public that Los Angeles had the courage to succeed in the clutch. Most important of all, Matthew Stafford demonstrated the worth of his acquisition from Detroit.

Los Angeles Rams Offense

Previously, former Rams quarterback Jared Goff was successful and led Los Angeles to an NFC title. But Goff would frustrate Rams head coach Sean McVay with his work habits. Also, McVay felt as if he had to micromanage Goff. But with Matthew Stafford, McVay has found the quarterback of his dreams. McVay has said that he trusts Stafford completely, including with play calls. The coach went on to say how much he appreciated Stafford’s comprehension of the Rams offense.

So far in the postseason, Stafford has a 115.6 quarterback rating with a 6/1 TD/IND ratio. Stafford threw for 4886 yards in the regular season and a 41/17 TD/INT ratio. After years of misery in Detroit, Stafford has found a championship lifeline.

Stafford’s favorite target is Cooper Kupp. On the whole, Kupp is considered to be the best wide receiver in the NFL. Kupp caught 145 passes for 1947 yards and 16 touchdowns in the regular season. He added 25 more receptions in the playoffs with four TDs.

Kicker Matt Gay is one of the most valuable Rams. Accordingly, Gay was seven out of nine on playoff field goals and hit 32 of 34 in the regular season.

Los Angeles Rams Defense

Defensive tackle Aaron Donald is the gold standard at that position. To illuminate, Donald had 12.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in the regular season. Donald is a perennial All-Pro and one of the game’s true impact players.

Also contributing with a strong postseason is linebacker Von Miller. Miller totaled two sacks and four tackles for loss in the playoffs.

Los Angeles Rams Coaching

Following two years of humble pie, Rams head coach Sean McVay is riding high again. McVay was considered to most dynamic coaching mind in Pro Football Betting three years ago. Now that he has a quarterback that he is confident in, McVay’s confidence has returned. McVay’s top assistants were the most coveted coaching prospects after their last Super Bowl appearance. It follows that his offensive coordinator has already been hired to coach the Miami Dolphins in 2022.
