Super Bowl Props NFL Super Bowl Line

2018 Super Bowl Betting - Patriots vs. Eagles

The Super Bowl offers far more than just picking the winner with the NFL Super Bowl Line.  The Super Bowl offers a multitude of prop bets from everything up to and including the coin toss.  But for serious football gamblers there are some appealing prop bets that have to do with what happens on the field.  Among the most appealing Super Bowl prop bets is the choice of who will win the Most Valuable Player Award.

Most Valuable Player #1

As one would expect New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a prohibitive favorite on the NFL Super Bowl Line to win the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award.  Brady opened at -150 to win the MVP award.  There is of course plenty of good reason for Brady being such a big public choice.  He is a four time winner of the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award.  Perhaps Brady’s greatest Super Bowl performance was last year when he rallied the Patriots from a 28-3 third quarter deficit against the Atlanta Falcons.  Tom Brady and the Patriots ended up as 34-28 winners in the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever.  Brady threw for 456 yards and two touchdowns in the win.  Brady claimed a most well deserved Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award for his clutch performance.

Most Valuable Player #2

The second sportsbook online choice to win the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award is Nick Foles.  Foles is the backup quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles that ended up as the post season hero.  He came off the bench when starting quarterback Carson Wentz went down with a knee injury.  Foles has come up totally clutch in the post season with a 122.1 passer rating in his two playoff games this year.  He offers far greater value than Brady as the underdog choice.  Philadelphia is a complete team with an arguably better defense than the Patriots.  If Foles can simply play with competence in an Eagles win he stands a great chance at claiming the MVP honor.

Margin of Victory

Another prop that will command a lot of attention is the margin of victory by the favored Patriots.  The Patriots won their games this year by an average margin of 29-19.  New England opened as a +325 choice to win the game by a margin of between one to six points.  The Patriots were at +350 to win the game by a margin of between seven to 12 points.  New England was a +600 choice to take the game by a margin of between 13 to 18 points.

Matchup to Watch.

This matchup, like most Super Bowls, will come down to the battle of quarterbacks with the NFL Super Bowl Line.  Brady is the huge favorite, that is for sure, and does not seem to bring much value.  But a closer look reveals that Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time.  He has already won four Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Awards.  A fifth is highly possible.

Patriots vs. Eagles Prediction

Tom Brady is the choice to win his fifth Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award.
