Titans at Browns-Preview

With the 2015-16 NFL Regular season week 1 a thing of the past, we move on to week 2 and preview a game between the Titans of Tennessee and the Browns of Cleveland with the game being played at the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday the 20th of September 2015 with kick-off scheduled for 1 PM ET and can be seen on CBS TV.

The opening odds at SBG Global for those that Bet on NFL has the Browns and Titans at PK -110 with the Over/under at 41 ½ and no early ML available! Yes, the Titans started the season well, with a 28 point win over the Buccaneers last Sunday, and now seek a win at Cleveland, thus we wonder who will be the victor this coming Sunday?

If you’re a fan of the Titans of Tennessee, surely you are excited about the great start in game 1 your team had with the 42-14 win over Tampa Bay, and remember there last season high for points was just 28 for the 2014 season.

You’re QB M. Mariota had a great debut to his professional career has he passed for 4 TD’s and some 2010 yards as he completed 13 of his 16 passes. Thus, he became the 2nd NFL rookie QB to pass for 4 TD’s in a 1st game of their career, tied with Fl Tarkenton the Hall of Famer, and his record was back in 1961 against the Bears. Also, with his 2 TD passes in the 1st quarter, he set another record in the NFL. In the game QB Mariota outperformed another Heisman winner TB QB J. Winston who passed for 2 TD’s on 16 of 32 pass attempts for some 211 yards and the Titans sacked him 4 times, and yes the Buccaneers have some work to do!

Now the Titans and QB Mariota seek another victory this time in Cleveland against the Browns who to date are 0-1. QB Mariota faces a Browns defense that only allowed the Jet s some 176 passing yards last Sunday, and that ranked 5th in the NFL to date in 2015. In the Titans ultimate 10 road games they had 3win and 7 losses.

For the fans of the Browns of Cleveland, your team struggled in their loss 31-10 to the Jets of New York. Cleveland just could not stop the Jets RB C. Ivory whom scored 2 times and rushed for some 92 yards. Now the Browns in their week 1 games since back in 1999 have 1 win and 16 losses.

Thus, this week they will try to get their season on track with a win over the Titans in this a crucial week 2 game for the Browns on Sunday. Since QB J. McCown left the 1st game early with a concussion, it’s likely the QB J. Manziel will be the starter in this upcoming match-up.

QB Manziel had a decent performance last Sunday as he passed for a 54 yard TD, and completed 13 of his 24 passes for 183 yards, and also rushed himself on 5 carries for 36 yards. But against the Titans QB Manziel will have to perform better, and handle the ball better, if the Browns are to get their 1st win in this game with the Titans. In his 1st game he had 3 turnover in the 2nd half of the game and all were costly that won the game for the Jets, in a turnover battle where the Browns had 5 and the Jets 1. Cleveland in their ultimate 10 games at home have won 4 and lost 6 of the 10 games.

The prediction for this game has the Browns of Cleveland beating the Titans of Tennessee 21-17, and that should be an interesting prediction that will depend on the outcome and performance of each team’s young quarterbacks.
