Trevor Lawrence -Jacksonville Jaguars +300
As the first overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, Trevor Lawrence holds the hopes of Jacksonville Jaguars fans in the palm of his hand. Lawrence was the 2020 ACC Football Player of the year and a First-Team All-American. Most important of all, he led Clemson to the 2018 national championship as a true freshman. Lawrence is one of the most coveted draft picks in history. He’ll begin the season as the Jaguars starter. As a result, that could give him an advantage to winning 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
Najee Harris – Pittsburgh Steelers +500
Specifically, it’s hard to think of a more perfect fit than Najee Harris and the Steelers. Harris was the 24th pick of the NFL Draft. However, the rates best for fulfilling a team need. Pittsburgh has never been the same since workhorse running back LeVeon Bell held out and departed after the 2017 offshore betting season.
Additionally, Harris has the great advantage of playing his college ball for Alabama, where he operated in a near-identical offensive system to the Steelers. Harris was the 2020 Doak Walker Award winner and was a unanimous All-American for the Crimson Tide. To summarize, he ran for over 2700 yards in each of his final two seasons at Alabama.
Trey Lance – San Francisco 49ers +600
Before gamblers go overboard on Trey Lance, remember that the 49ers still have a number one quarterback. Namely, Jimmy Garoppolo is the starter until proven otherwise. Lance was the surprise third overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. Following the NFL betting odds expectation that San Francisco would take Mac Jones. On the whole, the 49ers love the combination of passing potential and mobility that Lance brings. But if Jimmy G is healthy, he could stay in the lineup. Consider that Garoppolo is just two years removed from a Super Bowl berth.
Justin Fields – Chicago Bears +700
Yet another surprise was Justin Fields going to Chicago as the 11th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. Fields, highly decorated out of Ohio State, will be given every opportunity to start. Even though Andy Dalton begins summer camp as the starting QB on the depth chart. How quick of a study Fields is remains the biggest question.
Zach Wilson – New York Jets +800
Zach Wilson could be a potentially strong value pick after going second overall in the draft behind Trevor Lawrence. Accordingly, Wilson takes over as the starter for the New York Jets. Wilson was coveted for his athleticism and smarts on full display as a quarterback for the BYU Cougars.
