Bet on Hockey Anaheim Ducks at Edmonton

Bet on hockey has Edmonton hosting Anaheim on Sunday in a rematch of a game played Wednesday when Anaheim won 3-2 at home. The Ducks played last night at Calgary so they do face a tough back-to-back hockey betting situation in this game.  Here is a look at this matchup on Sunday between the Ducks and Oilers.

Bet on hockey has seen Anaheim make a huge push into the playoff picture in recent weeks. Before Saturday night’s game, the Ducks had won five of their last six overall to get within just a couple of points of a playoff spot. Anaheim has been lethal at home but they have struggled on the road.  If the Ducks can at least tread water on the road they can make the playoffs.

The Ducks and Oilers have split their last ten bet on hockey matchups.  Anaheim has actually won three of their last four at Edmonton in hockey betting.  The Ducks have moved up to 11th in the league on offense and goaltender Jonas Hiller is playing great so Anaheim is a real threat in hockey betting on a nightly basis.  The Ducks have been a weird team when it comes to the total. They go over the bet on hockey total at home but they go under the total on the road.

Edmonton has had a miserable year and those that bet on hockey simply don’t take the Oilers very often.  Edmonton is at least somewhat competitive at home in bet on hockey action but they still have a losing record.  They are 11-16-2-2 at home and that is a very poor home mark. On the road they are simply awful.  The Oilers don’t do much well as they are 28th on offense and next to last on defense.  Edmonton broke their huge losing streak earlier this month and actually won two games in a row but then went on another losing streak.  Those that bet on hockey will probably not want much to do with Edmonton in this game before the Olympic break. Perhaps after the break the Oilers will be more of a team to follow but right now they are simply a bad wager in hockey betting.

As you get ready for hockey betting on the Olympics you can take a shot on this game first between the Ducks and Oilers on Sunday.
