Hockey betting lines look better for the Kings

On Monday March 22nd the LA Kings play host to the Colorado Avalanche in a game that will have a major impact on the hockey betting post season. Just one point separates these two teams in the standings and a win for either team here will go a long way in shoring up a spot in the NHL betting post season.

Online betting on hockey this season has as entertaining as it’s ever been and with the team’s coming back to ice after one of the most exciting Olympic betting tournaments ever has only enhanced the excitement as the team’s come down the hockey betting home stretch.

With 87 points the Kings are solidly in third place in the Pacific division of the NHL betting action and currently hold down the sixth spot in the Western Conference hockey betting playoff competition.

The Avalanche, despite some rocky play of late (just 5-5-0 over its past 10 sports betting matchups) still has a lock on the 2nd spot in the Northwest division hockey betting standings with 86 points, trialing LA by just one point.  Colorado is currently the 8th seed in the hockey Western Conference hockey wagering if the playoffs were to begin today.

The sports betting advantage in this gambling matchup seems to be with the Kings as they’ll not only be playing in front of home crowd where the team is 20-12-3 this hockey wagering season, but the team has been much more consistent in recent gambling matchups than the Avalanche (winners of just 5 of its past 10 online sports betting matchups).

Also the Kings are a sports betting franchise without much playoff pedigree and the franchise and its fans are starving for a little post season betting action.  The club hasn’t been in the playoffs since 2002 and this is a team that is hungry to put that hockey wagering doubt behind them.

Kings should win and put even more distance between them and the Avalanche in the race for the NHL wagering post season.
