Kings at Wild is a Hockey Betting Must See

The LA Kings are in the midst of one other their finer hockey betting seasons in a while and look to be a lock for the NHL betting playoffs in the Western Conference online wagering action. On Monday March 29th they’ll travel to the Land of a Thousand Lakes to take on the struggling Minnesota Wild in what should be a great sports betting matchup,

The Kings (42-25-6) are currently in third place in third place in the Pacific Division with just weeks to go in the 2010 hockey betting season.  With 90 points through 73 games it seems unlikely that the team from LA will be able to overtake the second place Coyotes in the division betting standings and San Jose has already locked up a spot in the online betting playoff action and has the inside track on the division sports betting crown.

If the regular season NHL betting season ended today the Kings would be the sixth seed and likely face Phoenix in the opening round of the hockey betting post season.  But the team sits just one point behind Nashville in the hockey wagering playoff standings and could easily qualify for the hockey betting postseason as the five seed.

The handful of hockey wagering matchups left in the NHL odds competition will be must win games for the Kings.  And win they shall when they trek to Minnesota.  The Wild 36-23-10 has just 78 points through 73 hockey betting matchups and has no shot at the post season.  The best this team can hope for is to play spoiler to the Kings postseason positioning.

The Wild is a decent home team and has done well in NHL odds results in Minnesota (24-10-3).  But the Kings are a tremendous team on the road with a record of 21-12-3 and should be right at home on the enemy’s ice. Look for the Kings to grab the win up North and further cement their NHL playoff hopes.
