NHL Betting Online – Game 7 – Sabres at Flyers

NHL Betting Online – Game 7 – Sabres at Flyers Game.  It all comes down to one game in NHL betting online to decide the series between the Buffalo Sabres and Philadelphia Flyers.  The Flyers have had all kinds of issues in goal but they are at home on Tuesday and they are favored in NHL betting at the Sbg global sportsbook.

Flyers -160, total 5.5 under
It is somewhat surprising to see the number this high based on what has happened so far in this series.  The Flyers may have momentum but in this year’s NHL playoffs the home teams have not been very good and momentum has meant nothing.

Flyers Goaltending Roulette
The Flyers have used three goalies in this series but there is no question who will start in Game 7. It will be Brian Boucher who has come into games in this series and won in relief of Sergei Bobrovsky and Michael Leighton. Boucher has been the only goalie that has been reliable but there is no question that Buffalo has the edge in goal with Ryan Miller who has two shutouts in the series.

Sabres Getting Roy Back
The Sabres will not have Tim Connolly in the lineup for Tuesday but they will have Derek Roy. When he was injured in late December, Roy was leading the Sabres in scoring.  He was not expected to play in this series but with the injury to Connolly he will be back in the lineup. The Sabres played well without Roy in the lineup but they sure will be happy to have him return.

Game Notes
Home ice advantage has not meant much in NHL betting since the Flyers lost Game 1 while the Sabres lost Games 3 and 6 on home ice. The Sabres are 4-1 in their last 5 road games. The Sabres are 5-2 in their last 7 games as an underdog. The Flyers are 8-3 in their last 11 playoff games as a favorite. The Flyers are 2-8 in their last 10 home games. The Over is 5-2 in the Sabres last 7 road games. The Over is 16-5-4 in the Flyers last 25 playoff games as a favorite. In this series, the Over has been money in NHL betting online when the games are in Philly as the Over is 14-2-1 in the last 17 meetings in Philadelphia.
