NHL Betting – Regular Season Ends this Week

NHL Betting – Regular Season Ends this Week and fans are excited.  The NHL playoffs are just about a week away but before those odds are posted in NHL betting there is the final week of the regular season.  Some teams are fighting to make the playoffs and face critical games this week. Here is a look at some of the key games to consider this week when making an NHL bet.

Monday, April 4th
Boston Bruins at New York Rangers – The Rangers are still fighting to make the playoffs and this is a big game at home against the Bruins. It is one of only two games on Monday night for gamblers making an NHL bet.

Tuesday, April 5th
Tampa Bay at Buffalo – The Sabres are fighting for a playoff spot and this is a key home contest. The Lightning look pretty well set in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

Columbus at Dallas – The Stars are trying to stay alive in the Western Conference and this is a game they simply have to win.

Wednesday, April 6th
Detroit Red Wings at Carolina Hurricanes – The focus this week is on the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference as the Rangers, Sabres and Hurricanes try and make it. This is a must-win game for Carolina and they get a break as Detroit is not playing well and is not totally healthy.

Thursday, April 7th
Atlanta at New York Rangers – The Rangers have their fate in their own hands and they definitely get some help from the schedule in what should be a win at home vs. Atlanta.  The Rangers should be a solid NHL betting favorite at Sbg global.com in this game.

Friday, April 8th
Chicago at Detroit – The Blackhawks should be able to clinch a playoff spot sometime this week and it could happen on Friday night.

Saturday, April 9th
Montreal at Toronto – The Canadians should have clinched a spot by the time this game happens while the Maple Leafs may still be alive.

Sunday, April 10th
Detroit at Chicago – The last day of the regular season is on Sunday and there may not be any meaningful games.  Perhaps this will mean something in terms of seeding and it is also possible this could be a first round playoff preview.  If Dallas has a good week perhaps their game at Minnesota could have meaning but only if the Stars won their games earlier in the week.
