His contract is still huge as the Phillies signed him to a five-year, $120 million dollar contract. It is the third biggest guaranteed contract ever for a pitcher in baseball history. Lee was great with the Phillies in 2009 as he was 2-0 against the offshore betting odds in the World Series with a 2.81 ERA against the Yankees even though the Phillies lost. Lee and his wife really like the city of Philadelphia and they never wanted to leave when he was traded to Seattle.
