Bookmaker – City Stuns United to Reach FA Cup Final. There was a major surprise at the bookmaker on Saturday as Manchester City upset Manchester United 1-0 to reach the FA Cup final. The only goal of the match was scored by Manchester City’s Yaya Toure who took advantage of mistakes made by United goaltender Edwin van der SAR and Michael Carrick. Van der SAR made a poor clear and Carrick gave it away to Toure who got past Nemanja Vidic to score.
Scholes Sent Off
United lost their cool late in the match on Saturday as midfielder Paul Scholes was sent off in the 72nd minute and after the game was over midfielder Anderson got into it with City’s Mario Balotelli.
Manchester City was in the FA Cup final back in 1981 but they lost. City has not won any major title since winning the League Cup in 1976.
