For the 2023 Edition of the Hall of Fame Game, the New York Jets meet the Cleveland Browns. Most important of all, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will enshrine its new members. Namely, the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame are Cornerbacks Ronde Barber and Darrelle Revis, outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware and linebacker Zach Thomas. 2023 Hall of Fame Game SBG Odds Overview

Watson Biggest Question for Browns
Deshaun Watson struggled in his debut season in Cleveland. He served an 11-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Following his being accused by more than two dozen women of sexual assault and sexual misconduct during massage sessions.
When Watson returned for the last six games, he flopped. Consider Watson ranked just 26th in the league in QBR (38.3) over that span. However, the 2020 NFL passing champ said he’d regained his confidence during Cleveland’s minicamp in June.
Watson signed a $230 million fully guaranteed contract. Indeed, the Browns have gambled that Watson can return to being one of the league’s top quarterbacks. Cleveland could become a legitimate Super Bowl contender if he regains that previous form. But if he can’t, the Watson trade could become an unmitigated disaster that will hamper the franchise for years.
Jets Fine Tune Talented Roster
While the Jets construct what should be their most talented roster in more than a decade, it’s important to note the team goals. It’s a win-now mentality with 39-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the team. Concurrently that comes with a one- or two-year window. The days of rebuilding are over. So look for an older, more experienced roster than in recent years.
Specifically, the Jets have a surplus at the defensive end, wide receiver, and offensive tackle. Thus, that could lead to difficult personnel decisions involving DE Bryce Huff, WR Corey Davis, and OT Mekhi Becton. All three are entering the final year of their contracts. And none of them is assured a starting job. The Jets’ overall talent level is improved. In turn, that means better depth and greater competition.
