Online Betting Handicappers Note Another Utah Move. The Utah Jazz made another move that could help them next season vs. the online betting NBA odds. The Jazz signed Raja Bell after it was thought he would join Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. The Jazz offered him more money though and he may help Utah vs. Internet betting NBA odds next season.
Online betting odds on the Jazz next season should be similar to what they were this year. The Jazz lost Carlos Boozer but they picked up Al Jefferson. They are going to lose Wesley Matthews but they have now added Raja Bell. The deal is reported to be for three-years and almost $10 million. Bell was a highly sought after free agent because of his defensive abilities. He has been a premier defender in the NBA and that is one reason the Lakers wanted him.
Chicago also wanted him and they offered him a two-year deal worth more than $8 million but it was laden with incentives while the Jazz deal was not. What also helped the Jazz was Bell’s relationship with Utah head coach Jerry Sloan. Utah was deciding whether or not to match the offer sheet that Portland gave Wesley Matthews and with the signing of Bell, they will not match the Blazers offer.
The Lakers were thought to be the favorites to sign Bell as Kobe Bryant was making a pitch to Bell. Many people in online betting still remember that it was Bell who got into it with Kobe in 2006 in the Phoenix-Los Angeles series. The two players were set to meet but the Jazz made such a good offer that Bell didn’t meet with Kobe. The Lakers did not have the money to match Utah’s offer.
The Lakers are getting ready for next season vs. Internet betting NBA odds as they have re-signed guard Derek Fisher and added guard Steve Blake. The Lakers are considering re-signing Shannon Brown but whether a new deal can be worked out is still in question.
Online betting information indicates that Utah lost Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver but they have now replaced them with Al Jefferson and Raja Bell. Last season, Bell played in only six games because of a wrist injury. He has recovered from that injury and could be a very important player for the Jazz next season.
