It won’t be long and online betting odds will be on the board for Manny Pacquiao’s next fight.
He is scheduled to fight on May 7th in Las Vegas, probably against Shane Mosley. Pacquiao is really the only draw for boxing and he will be heavily favored in Internet betting at Sbg global for his fight in May.
Fight on HBO Pay-Per-View
Even though the opponent is not official, it looks like Shane Mosley will be going up against Pacquiao in the fight on May 7th that will be televised on HBO Pay-Per-View. It was thought that Pacquiao would fight in April but there are too many other events in April that might go up against the Pacquiao fight so his connections chose May 7th. The bout could be held at the MGM but that site is not guaranteed. What does look secure is that the bout will be in Las Vegas. Pacquiao and his agent met with Bob Arum and the date of May 7th was decided and the locale of Las Vegas was also confirmed.

Many boxing experts believe that Pacquiao is not only the best pound for pound fighter in the world currently but of all time. He has done everything in his career and won titles in eight different weight classes. Not only does he win fights, he is extremely popular around the world. If not for Pacquiao there would be no reason to ever follow boxing. Last March it was Pacquiao winning a unanimous decision in online betting over Joshua Clottey at Cowboys Stadium and last month Pacquiao fought again at Cowboys Stadium and defeated Antonio Margarito in a unanimous decision. That win was his 13th straight and was his eighth different weight class title. Pacquiao loves fighting in Las Vegas. He is 9-1-1 in Las Vegas with seven knockouts. He is 4-1-1 at the MGM. He defeated Oscar De La Hoya in the eighth round in a win at the MGM. It is not all pleasant for Pacquiao at the MGM though as he lost to Erik Morales at the casino resort. He got revenge though for that loss as he beat Morales twice, also in Las Vegas.
Mosley 46-6-1
There are not many good big name boxers for Pacquiao to fight. Mosley looks to be the best option. He still has a big name in boxing and would draw a good crowd. A better matchup in Internet betting might be against Andre Berto but he still doesn’t have the marquee name that Mosley has.
