Can Anyone Stop the Cavs in the NBA Playoff Online Wagering?

December 15th, 2021 Online Wagering

There should be little doubt which team was best in the NBA online wagering this season. Both the defending Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic (59-23) and the NBA Finals betting champion, LA Lakers (57-25), had fine regular seasons but neither were better through the 82-game NBA regular season the Cleveland Cavs (61-21).  And as the NBA playoffs get underway and fans go nuts wagering online the real question is whether any team can stop the Cavs in the NBA betting post season.

Every online wagering fan knows that the regular season the playoff betting season are two completely different animals.  But the regular season is a good indication of which teams should be the favorites when the post season betting begins.  And if you’re thinking of wagering online this NBA playoff season you’d be crazy to bet against the Cavs –at least through the first two rounds of the playoff betting action.

Online wagering experts have made Cleveland the odds on favorite to win the Eastern Conference Finals and cruise into the NBA Finals.  It’s very hard to argue with this pick as no other team can match up with LeBron James (29.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 8.6 apg).  His stats are filthy and he turns into a beast in the postseason betting.  This year, with some extra big bodies in the paint the Cavs look to have enough ammunition to get past the streaky Magic in online wagering competition.

However, the big test for the Cavs would be the LA Lakers as a potential NBA Finals betting opponent.  If these two teams met up it would be difficult to pick a clear favorite in the NBA odds.  If you were thinking of wagering online in this hypothetical series you’d want to take bit of time to sort out the pros and cons of choosing either team.

These two teams are both among the best in the NBA betting and head to head are very interesting online wagering matchup.  The Lakers are the better team, but LeBron is the better player and it could come down to LeBron simply out playing the Lakers in any NBA Finals betting matchup up.

LA has two tremendous seven footers in Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum; no team in the NBA odds action can match them.  And the Lakers also have superstar Kobe Bryant.  But on the right night, if LeBron is hitting on all cylinders he trumps them both.

It’s hard to know who would come out on top in this NBA betting matchup but you can be sure that online wagering fans would be the real winners.
