Creighton at Xavier Betting Preview for Saturday

With the 2015-16 NCAA Basketball Regular Season winding down as we prepare for March Madness, this Saturday the 5th of March we find 2 Big East rivals playing as the 16-11 Creighton Bluejays (4th Big East) playing at the 25-4 Xavier Musketeers (2nd Big East) with the game being played at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio with the tip-off scheduled at 2:30 PM ET.

The Xavier Musketeers apparently already have their ticket to March Madness, but they still have a regular season game to finish their season being with the Creighton Bluejays. This just happens to be the same team that issued the 3rd loss to the Musketeers, as fans wonder whether the Bluejays can get another upset in this Saturday game.

For the fans who Bet on College basketball at an online sportsbook and are fans of the Big East (9-7) Bluejays who put a stop to another loss as they beat another Big East team this past Sunday in St. John’s 100-59. That win allowed Creighton to improve for their lifetime regular home game in a season to 19 and 2. Creighton center G. Groselle had a great game with 3 blocks, 11 rebounds and some 23 points as the Bluejays routed 47-21 the Red Storm of St. Johns.

The Creighton Bluejays still have a game left on Thursday with Providence before they go to Ohio to play the Musketeers, but be certain the Bluejays are looking forward to upsetting the Musketeers this Saturday afternoon. Many fans may remember that Creighton on the 10th of February upset 70-56 Xavier, and in that game won the game by staying with Xavier in the battle of the rebounds as they had 44 while Xavier had 46.

But in this game if the Bluejays are to halt the Musketeers top players, then the backcourt defense of Creighton will have to step up their game, and on player that can do that is junior guard M. Watson who in their upset over Xavier earlier he scored 32 point, had 6 assists and 8 rebounds.

Fans of the Xavier Musketeers (Big East 13-4) you know your team had a big win this past Wednesday over Villanova and followed on Sunday with a loss 91-80 to the Pirates of Seton Hall. That loss can certainly complicate the Musketeers changes if getting a top seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, after the team was beaten on the backboards 44-39 by Seton Hall in that Sunday loss, and at the time were ranked 13th in the nation on rebounds.

In their last Wednesday’s game their duo of J. Farr a senior and T. Bluiett a sophomore each scored 18 points and were the standout stars for the Musketeers in that game, as the team overall had shot a sluggish 39% from the court. Fans are wondering if the Xavier team was still hung over from their win over the Wildcats the previous week, as prior to that at Villanova the dominated the boards and assists for the game, while they had 6 players score in double figures.

Yes, your team is cited as one of the top teams to take the national title this season, even as they are yet to prove in their final home game that the loss to Seton Hall was just a jinx, and show that by beating the Bluejays. But certainly the team will not be able to have another game with an off-performance as they did this Wednesday past, and certainly must improve their shooting from the field over the loss to Creighton last month if they are to win on Saturday afternoon.

The online betting prediction for this Bit East rivalry game will see the Musketeers at home overpower the Bluejays and win their season final 92-78.
