NBA Draft Online Wagering Odds: Who’s Going First In the 2010 NBA Draft?. There are all kinds of conspiracy theories out there in the world of online wagering and a million different scenarios that can happen when the 2010 NBA draft finally rolls around. If you’ve ever gone on some online wagering companies’ web sites, and seen the blogs and the basketball betting comments, you’re aware of the all the theories involved with the NBA draft betting action.
But this year there should be very little surprise when it comes to the first pick overall in the 2010 NBA draft. The first player taken overall in this year’s NBA betting draft will be PG John Wall out of Kentucky. Of that there is little debate and the online wagering odds makers are all but certain of this as well.
The Washington Wizards have the first pick in the NBA draft this year and this team, as you would probably expect, is one of the absolutely worst teams in the NBA online wagering action right now. And this is desperate need of a point guard so it only seems natural that this club would select Wall first overall as all the online wagering companies are predicting.
But even more basic that that conclusion is the simple fact that Wall is the best player available in the draft and if you’re looking ahead toward rebuilding your team for the NBA online wagering competition you’ve got to take the best player available, and as stated above, that’s Wall.
There is perhaps a very slight possibility that the Wizards would select Evan Turner out of Ohio State but that is an unlikely online wagering scenario for a couple reasons. Turner, the Big 10 Player of the Year, and terrific al around player is one of the top prospects in the 2010 NBA betting draft. However, he plays SG, the same as Wizards franchise star Gilbert Arenas. It’s unlikely that the team would pursue a SG unless it’s going to trade away Gilbert, which is also possible, but with his checkered past the team would get very little value in return.
Secondly, Wall is the more attractive pick, not only because of his skill, but because the PG position is more valuable to a team in the NBA online wagering competition than a SG. Almost any way you look at it, it’s an online wagering sure thing that Wall will be the number one pick overall in the 2010 NBA draft.
