Game 7 of NBA Finals a Great Online Wager Opportunity

December 13th, 2021 Online Wagering

For the just the third time in two decades sports betting fans will be able to make an online wager on a Game 7 of an NBA Finals. As anyone that’s been in involved with online wagering on the NBA Finals knows, the basketball betting championships are generally lop-sided affairs dating back to the days of the Chicago Bulls dynasties in the early 1990s and extending all the way to the sports betting present.

But this year, as the two most storied franchises that NBA betting fans can make on online wager on go head to head in a rematch of the 2008 NBA Finals, fans have not only been treated to six terrific games already in the 2010 NBA Finals but will now also get a seventh game to make a basketball bet on as well.

This series has been an up and down roller coaster ride since Game One in LA when the Lakers routed the visiting Boston Celtics in what looked like was a precursor for yet another NBA Finals betting blow out.  But anyone that made an online wager in that direction quickly came to regret it as the Celtics proved to be resilient team.  The Celtics not only stole Game 2 on the road but went back to Beantown and took two of three games there, becoming the first team in the series to win two games in a row.

LA put the brakes on the Celtics winning streak though with their dominant Game 6 victory.  The 89-67 trouncing was one of the most sever beat-downs ever handed out in NBA Finals betting history and anyone that made an online wager on the Lakers covering the spread certainly made out alright on that online wagering venture.

But the real question now for fans looking to make an online wager is: who wins Game 7?

This is not an easy question to answer as both teams are more than capable of claiming the NBA betting title.

LA has home court advantage and an injury to Celtics starting center Kendrick Perkins in its favor.  The Celtics have already won once on LA’s court and have bounced back with a win after every loss so far this series.

Still, Boston has proven it’s a consistently better team (though not necessarily more talented) and that will come through in Game 7.
