The University of Florida Gators have been arguably the most dominant team in college football betting over the past few years and anyone that has made an online wager on this team has generally been handsomely rewarded.
But with legendary Heisman Winner QB Tim Tebow taking his skills to the Denver Broncos and a new NCAA football online wagering season dawning it’s a new day for the Gators program and question marks abound for this college football betting force.
But chances are the Gators are going to be just fine with new QB John Brantley a better passer than Tebow ever was and a top pro prospect. The offense will definitely have a new look but if the receivers can step up their game online wager fans will be wise to put their money on this team.
But the Gators are hardly the only top level talent in the college football online wagering in the state of Florida as traditional online wager powerhouses University of Miami and Florida State seem to have climbed back up in the football betting rankings and joined newer football programs like University of Southern Florida and University of Central Florida as top ranked teams in the college football betting.
After several years of weathering mediocrity and sub-par performances at both FSU and UM these programs finally look as though they’ve gotten back on track and should be major favorites in their online wager matchups in the season ahead.
The Gators, of course, leads the Florida schools in the rankings and generally among the top teams in any preseason football betting poll but the Canes and Seminoles are that far behind and hold great promise for the college football online wager action in the year ahead.
The Canes are ranked in the top ten in several prominent preseason polls and the Seminoles are just behind them. South Florida is included in the top 25 in many preseason polls as well but aren’t quite the same level in the online wager odds as the other schools. Central Florida is in a bit of rebuilding year but could easily work its way into the college football betting polls with a few early wins.
