The schedule may also favor United but there are not as many guaranteed wins as in the past. “There has been a general leveling upwards, the likes of Spurs, City, Villa and Everton are much better than last season,” said Ancelotti. “And they’ve all taken points from the top teams. That means there is more depth than before.”
If Ancelotti’s prediction is accurate, and 86 points is needed, then Chelsea probably has to run the table. Chelsea almost has to win the match at United on Saturday to have a chance. The schedule just looks too easy for United if they beat Chelsea. They have Stoke and Tottenham at home. They travel to Manchester City, Sunderland, Blackburn and Bolton. The only possible defeat in online wagering action could be at Manchester City. Chelsea has a tough road even if they get the win at United. They still have to go to Tottenham and Liverpool.
Arsenal probably has to run the table or get six wins and a draw. That would give them 86 points. Not all of their matches will be easy, especially against Tottenham. The matches at Blackburn and Birmingham City are no guaranteed wins in online wagering.
