Growing as in an impoverished area of LA the Williams sisters, of online wagering fame and winners of multiple Grand Slam titles, had to share everything. And even now as grown adults they still share a lot of things but it’s probably not much of a burden sharing things like Grand Slam titles and or billing as an online wagering tennis betting favorite.
Now that the online wagering at the All England Tennis Club has gotten underway and the 2010 Wimbledon tennis betting is officially underway there are two players in the women’s draw that stand head and shoulders above the rest as favorites in the online wagering: Venus and Serena Williams.
Still sisters, and still sharing –at least top billing at Wimbledon- after all these years. And for growing up on asphalt city courts these two women sure do know how to play well on grass. In fact, no one in the current online wagering scene seems to play as well as these two ladies on turf.
Chew on this stat for a moment: 8 of the past 10 Wimbledon Championships have been won by a Williams’s sister. And that’s only including the singles competition. The Williams sisters have also dominated the doubles portion of the online wagering competition as well. And that even includes the several years when the sisters didn’t seem that committed to tennis and the other years where injuries seemed to gobble up these amazing athletes.
But the Williams sisters, in their mid to late 20’s are now in the prime of the career and playing the best tennis they’ve ever played in their online wagering careers. Now ranked #1 (Serena) and #2 (Venus) in the world the focus cannot be doubted. Their collective early departure from the French Open likely will provide plenty of motivation for this duo as well.
As the top two seeds in the Wimbledon online wagering action the path has set for the sisters to meet up in the 2010 tennis betting final at Wimbledon and what a finish that would be to the most amazing tennis event in online wagering. There are of course a handful of challengers that could derail an-all Williams’s final at Wimbledon; players like former world #1s Kim Cljisters and Justine Henin, but for all intents and purposes it’s awfully safe to say that a Williams will win the online wagering final at Wimbledon.
