More emphatically, Biden did not want to use the President Trump plan because of spite. The new president wanted credit from his Trump-hating base on using different tactics. However, it all blew up in Biden’s face. Consequently, his poll numbers are falling like a rock.
Now, Joe Biden is well under 50% in his approval ratings. Americans will tolerate a lot from their presidents. But they will never accept weakness on the national stage. And Biden is coming off as the weakest president in the modern era. Reports of the United States complying with the Taliban were alarming. The Military admitted to using the Taliban as partners. Also, lists of names and addresses of Americans and assistants were given to the Taliban. In short, that was unprecedented in American history.
The best tell on how bad Joe Biden is performing is the American “news” media. To illuminate, most American “journalists” are, in fact, Democrat advocates and cheerleaders. Their work against Trump was a deciding factor with the Political betting odds in 2020. But this debacle in Afghanistan was so bad that they couldn’t possibly cover for Biden.

Donald Trump wasted no time speaking out about how badly the Afghanistan disaster was handled. He is hinting at a run in 2024 to reclaim the office he claims was stolen from him. Trump has plenty of detractors but may look better in comparison to Biden. Eventually, time will tell.
