December 6th, 2019 Rugby Union Betting

It that time of the decade again when we are approaching the Rugby World Cup 2015 that starts on Friday the 18th of September 2015, and the world rugby fans are awaiting the very physical action to start. Thus, we would like to preview briefly some of the countries that prevail in the World of Rugby.

So we begin to look some five countries that have participated in the Rugby Tournaments starting with the 1st being New Zealand and we cannot argue that New Zealand may have one of the best teams in Rugby World Cup Play. They are called the ‘All Blacks’ and are the reigning 2011 World Rugby Title holders, and their overall record in this tournament is some 37 wins and 6 losses to date. Throughout the history of World Cup events the Kiwis have scored at least 3 times the points as their worldly opponents in all World Cups. The Tournament formally known as the Tri Nations Series had 19 Tournaments of which New Zealand won some 13 and since its beginning have recorded 16 wins 1 loss and 1 tie.

The Kiwis have to star players in R. McCaw and D. Carter accompanied by the No. 8 player in the Rugby World in L. Read, and the team is ready to win this tournament.

Second is South Africa who recently had a case filed against them that requested in a court order to forbid then from participating, as they did not have sufficient black players on the roster. Recently the case was dropped, so now the ‘Springboks’ as the team is called, will seek to win this tournament, and this is a team that can give the Kiwis of New Zealand the best of competition.

The last team to beat the ‘All Black’ Kiwis, were the South African ‘Springboks’ in October of 2014, and a team that of the 7 World Cup Tournaments, they have won 2. They also boast that they have one of the best youthful rugby players in H. Pollard who is just 21 years of age, and already has on 2 tries some 65 points, with 14 conversions and 8 penalties credited in just 9 games in his career.

The 3rd team is Australia, and similar to the Kiwis and the Springboks, the national team of Australia had 2 World Cup Championships to their name, and the last was in 1999 in the Wales tournament. Know as the ‘Wallabies’ they have also placed as runners-up, 3rd and 4th place in 3 different tournaments, so yes the down under boys have what it takes to win.

The Wallabies have a lot of momentum coming into this 2015 Rugby World Cup after winning some 9 of their last 10 games. Watch their star players in W. Genia, D. Pocock and Q. Cooper to take the lead for the Australians. To enter this 2015 Tournament the Wallabies will have to win in Pool A which includes facing Wales and England to qualify.

The 4th team is England who has the advantage of playing at home, since this 2015 Rugby World Cup is to be played in London, England. They can win without the home team support, as they recently have performed very well in all of their recent games. The last time England won the Title was back in 2003, but on 2 occasions they have been runners-up, with the latest being back in1991 when England hosted the event in that year.

Earlier we talked about Pool A qualifying, which is known as the ‘Pool of Death’ and this year includes a lot of rough competition, but since England has performed well recently, and earlier this season beat Wales, and also beat Australia 26-17 this past November 2014.

The 5th and final selected team is Ireland commonly known as the ‘Wolfhounds’ as they have never won this tournament, plus in the time they played they appeared unprepared, as they never advanced from the semifinals in their 5 appearances.

However the Wolfhounds had the good fortune of coming into this tournament in Group D, which is a group that consists of teams they have previously beaten, and the most competitive of the group is France. Thus with the return to the national team of star fly-half in J. Sexton whom in 51 caps scored 482 points, the Ireland Wolfhounds are and underdog pick to win the Tournament.
