Sports betting had seen California struggle a little bit on defense and the Bears have made a move that they hope will improve their numbers. California hired Clancy Pendergast from the Oakland Raiders to be their defensive coordinator. The resume of Pendergast is long but not always successful so it will be interesting to see if California improves next year in online sports betting.
Sports betting had Bob Gregory leaving for Boise State so the Bears had to find someone to replace him. Pendergast didn’t have to go far as he was in Oakland as a defensive assistant.
