Sportsbetting has not seen Arizona State win the Pac-10 title in men’s college basketball in 31 years. Is this the sports betting online season that Arizona State ends that long drought? Sportsbetting has Arizona State as the only Pac-10 school without a men’s basketball title. They have been getting closer though since head coach Herb Sendek took over in 2006. If they are to win the title they really need to get a sportsbetting win on Thursday as they host California.

Sendek has taken the Sun Devils from last in the Pac-10 up to third place last season. The Sun Devils are in a five-way tie for second place behind California in the Pac-10. The Sun Devils did not play well last Saturday in a 77-58 sportsbetting loss to Arizona. Sendek does not believe his team will have any negative effects from that loss. “We have guys who are resilient,” Sendek said. “They look at it, they learn from it, and they move on, and they do that win or lose.”

Arizona State normally plays very good defense as they have been right with the best teams in the country. They did not play well against Arizona in sports betting online though as the Wildcats scored 52 in the second half. The Arizona State offense wasn’t any better. Arizona State needs more out of center Eric Boateng who is only averaging 5.6 points per game in conference play. “I have confidence that Eric is capable of making plays and has done it in the past, and he’s our guy and it’s important that we believe in him,” Sendek said. “The ability to score inside is important in basketball and when we’ve been able to do that, we’re a much more difficult team to defend, just like anybody else.”

California is averaging 79.1 points per game which is tops in the Pac-10 so Arizona State is going to get a great sportsbetting test on Thursday. Guard Jerome Randle is averaging 18.7 points per game while guard Patrick Christopher is averaging 16.3 per sports betting online game. “Jerome Randle is crazy good,” Sendek said. Cal and Arizona State split the two sportsbetting meetings a year ago. The Bears won 81-71 in Berkeley but lost in sports betting online 83-66 in Tempe. It should be a very intense, close sportsbetting contest when these two teams meet on Thursday.
