Online sports betting had Costa Rica firing head coach Rodrigo Kenton after they lost three straight games in World Cup qualifying. Costa Rica looked like a lock to make the World Cup but now they are in serious danger of finishing in 4th place which would mean a sportsbetting playoff game against the fifth place team from the South America group for a spot.

Costa Rica once led the group but after losses to Mexico and El Salvador they have fallen to fourth place in online sports betting. El Salvador has 8 points and is pretty much out of it while Trinidad and Tobago is officially eliminated.

They are also considering Leo Beenhakker and Hans Westerhof of the Netherlands and former Argentina coach Jose Pekerman. “We thank Rodrigo for what he has done,” Costa Rica federation president Eduardo Li said, “But results are important and, despite his good work, the last three games have been costly.”
Costa Rica has a match on October 10th at home against Trinidad and Tobago that they should win in online sports betting at the sportsbook. Then they face the United States on Oct. 14 at Washington D.C in a match that could be competitive in sportsbetting at the online sportsbook. “In football, you know that in every game your life is on the line,” Kenton said. “It’s been a beautiful experience. … We’re still in the fight to qualify with games against Trinidad and the United States. We still have hope. But I’m telling you the toughest is yet to come.” Kenton may believe that to be true but the sportsbetting match against Trinidad won’t be tough and the match against the United States may be winnable as well if the U.S. has already clinched and has nothing to play for.
Costa Rica is definitely not in the best online sports betting position but they still have a chance to make the World Cup considering their remaining online sports betting schedule.
