Sportsbetting has eight teams in the running for an at-large BCS bowl bid. There are a total of 20 teams in the running for the BCS bowl games but many of those have automatic berths. Eight teams that are out of the running in their conferences are still in consideration though in sports betting online for a BCS bowl.
Sportsbetting has Miami, LSU and USC as three of the high profile teams that could get an at-large bid. Boise State is likely to be another of those teams in the sports betting online mix. TCU has just one sportsbetting game left against New Mexico that they should win going away so they will get the automatic bid from a non-automatic qualifying conference. Boise would need the at-large bid or they are going to be left out in the cold, despite being 6th in the country.
Much of the BCS standings remained the same this sportsbetting week. Florida, Alabama, Texas, TCU, Cincinnati, Boise State and Georgia Tech are the top 7 and they are followed by Oregon who moved up to #8. Pittsburgh is at #9 while Ohio State is 10th.
