Florida Regains Top Spot in AP Poll Sports Betting

Sport betting has seen the Florida Gators retake the top spot in the Associated Press college football poll.A week after falling to #2 in the poll, the Gators have regained the top spot.  Online sports betting had Florida at #1 followed by Alabama and Texas.

Sport betting had the top five being completed with USC and Cincinnati.  Neither Florida nor Alabama were that impressive this week but the Gators did win by 10 points over Mississippi State while Alabama had to block a field goal at the end of the game to hold off Tennessee.  Sport betting had Florida receiving 30 first-place votes to Alabama’s 23. Texas actually received seven first place votes as they got even closer to the top two in the poll. The top two teams in the AP poll have not changed spots in consecutive weeks since 1992 when Miami and Washington switched spots.

The second five in the AP begins with Boise State and Iowa. TCU moved up to #8 in the poll followed by LSU and Oregon. The Ducks moved into the Top 10 this online sports betting week.  They have a huge game upcoming against USC on Saturday in sportsbook odds that is likely to decide the Pac-10 Championship.

Sport betting has Georgia Tech beginning the second ten as they are #11 in the AP Poll. They are followed by Penn State and Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have a huge matchup in sport betting this week at the sports book as they host #3 Texas. Virginia Tech is 14th in the AP poll followed by Houston at #15.

The next five begins with Pittsburgh who rose up four spots to #16 . They were very impressive last week in sport betting as they dismantled South Florida.  This is the highest Pittsburgh has been ranked since 2003.

Online sports betting indicated that the rest of the Top 20 is rounded out by Ohio State, Miami, Utah and West Virginia round.  The last five in the Top 25 has South Carolina at #21 followed by #22 Oklahoma. Arizona is at #23 and into the Top 25 for the first time this decade.  Mississippi is #24 while Notre Dame is back into the Top 25 at #25 as online sports betting info showed.  Kansas, BYU and Texas Tech all dropped out of the rankings this sport betting week.
