Online sport betting has not gone well for those backing the Florida State Seminoles FSU, who have a sportsbetting record of 2-3 straight up and 1-4 against the spread.
Online sport betting fire is intensifying against FSU head coach Bobby Bowden who is facing increased pressure to step down after the 2009 sportsbetting season. The latest individual to call for Bowden’s ouster is none other than Jim Smith, who is the chair of the university’s board of trustees.
“My hope is frankly that we’ll go ahead, and if we have to, let the world know that this year will be the end of the Bowden era,” said Smith. “I think the record will show that the Seminole Nation has been more than patient. We have been in a decline not for a year or two or three but I think we’re coming up on seven or eight. I think enough is enough.”
Florida State is coming off a 21-28 online sport betting loss at Boston College last Saturday. It was a painful sportsbetting defeat as BC scored the winning touchdown with just 4:07 remaining in the game. It was FSU’s second consecutive loss as they were embarrassed on their home field the week before by South Florida 7-17 as 14-point online sport betting favorites.
Even when the Seminoles win they look bad as evidenced by their pathetic 19-9 win over Jacksonville State on September 12 in which they trailed heading into the 4th quarter as 34-point home chalks.
After the 2000 online sport betting season in which Florida State went 11-2 straight up, they have had just one double-digit season for wins when they went 10-3 in 2003.
Starting with the 2005 online sport betting season Florida State has posted straight up sportsbetting records of 8-5, 7-6, 7-6, and 9-4. Further adding to the online sport betting case against Bowden has been a laundry list of rules violations including student fraud. Some of Bowden’s wins were technically taken away from him by the NCAA.
Bowden made a reputation for himself as an offensive genius but the numbers have declined in recent years and this year FSU ranks just 62nd in scoring.
FSU hosts ACC front runner Georgia Tech this Saturday.
