Sports betting golf odds move from the Masters last week to the Verizon Heritage tournament this week. Many top players will be in the field this week with Jim Furyk, K.J. Choi and Paul Casey the sportsbetting favorites.
Sports betting odds list Furyk at 14-1 to win the tournament this week with Choi and Casey right there as well at 16-1. Many of the players that competed last week in the Masters are in the field for the tournament this week at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Last year the winner of this tournament was Brian Gay who shot a final-round 64 to win by a record ten shots.
The field this year includes a number of players in the Top 10 in the world rankings. In addition to Furyk, Choi and Casey, also in the field is Ian Poulter. Ricky Barnes who had a top ten finish in the Masters last week will also tee it up in South Carolina. Furyk did not play well last week in the Masters. He is a lukewarm favorite this week. Choi played extremely well while Barnes and Poulter had their moments. Casey really did nothing which was a surprise since he was expected to do well at the Masters. Poulter has already won this season and could be ready for another victory this week. Choi was in the hunt for the win last week before faltering down the stretch.
Also in the field is Camilo Villegas who has a win this year and two other top-10 finishes. He is the fourth choice in sportsbetting odds at 23-1. There are a number of players that have odds of 30-1 including Robert Allenby. Also at 30-1 are DJ Trahan, Matt Kuchar, Stephen Ames, Luke Donald and defending champion Brian Gay.
