NASCAR Sports Betting is Heating Up

Sports betting on NASCAR are heating up with just six races remaining for drivers to try and get into the Top 12 to make the Chase. Tony Stewart leads the points standings but he is no longer the favorite in online sports betting to win the Sprint Cup Championship.  That honor goes to Jimmie Johnson who was the sports betting winner this past week at Indianapolis.

Sports betting odds have Johnson the favorite at +250 to win the Sprint Cup Championship. Stewart is now the second choice in online sports betting at +285.  Those two are not the only drivers with a chance though.  Sports betting stats at the sportsbook have four other drivers with single-digit odds.  Jeff Gordon is 4-1 to win the sports betting Cup while Mark Martin is 5.5 to 1.  Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch are 7-1 each in online sports betting.  That online sportsbook number on Kyle Busch is way too low considering he is not even in the Top 12 in the point’s standings and has not looked good all season. Busch has fallen to 14th in the standings and has given no indication he can make a late run to make the NASCAR chase.

Stewart is the point’s leader followed by Johnson, Gordon and Kurt Busch.  The sports betting information on Kurt Busch are 11.5 to 1 which is higher than those on Kyle even though Kurt is having the far superior season.  Edwards is fifth in the standings followed by Denny Hamlin.  Sports betting odds have Hamlin at 13.5 to 1 to win the Cup.   Following Hamlin it is Kasey Kahne at 10.5 to 1 for the sports betting fans to pick. Ryan Newman is next in sports betting picks at 15-1.

Newman is 7th in the point’s standings followed by Kasey Kahne but it is Kahne that has more respect at the sportsbook in terms of sports betting odds.  Martin is 9th followed by Juan Pablo Montoya and Greg Biffle.  Matt Kenseth currently holds the last spot in the Chase as he is in 12th place in the standings.  David Reutimann is 68 points behind in 13th place.  Biffle is 22.5 to 1 in for this sports betting race while Kenseth is 25-1 at the online sportsbook.

Kyle Busch is in 14th followed by Brian Vickers and Clint Bowyer. The sports betting odds on Bowyer have him listed at 45-1 to win the Cup.
