Ohio State’s Herron Out for Saturday Sportsbetting

Sportsbetting has Ohio State losing running back Dan Herron for Saturday’s Big 10 matchup with Purdue. The Buckeyes are still given a lot of respect in sports betting online at the sportsbook as they are laying two touchdowns on the road against the Boilermakers.

Sportsbetting had Herron getting hurt in the Buckeyes win over Wisconsin. Herron hurt his left ankle and might miss more than just this week’s sportsbetting contest. Herron got hurt originally in the sportsbetting game against Illinois and missed the next game against Indiana. He got hurt early against Wisconsin in sports betting online action and didn’t return. “We probably got set back a week or two,” Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel said.  Brandon Saine is expected to make the start on Saturday with freshman Jordan Hall as the backup.

The team is also looking at getting freshman Jaamal Berry some playing time along with Jermil Martin. “When he’s been healthy he’s been very, very good, but right now it’s Brandon and Jordan,” Tressel said. “But Jaamal Berry has been back.” Ohio State is expected to get offensive linemen Andrew Miller and Jim Cordle back this sportsbetting week. The two originally were starters as sportsbetting info indicates but now it is J.B. Shugarts and Mike Adams.

In other sports betting injury news from the Big 10, Iowa wide receiver Paul Chaney Jr. will miss the rest of the college football betting season after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament last week in the win over Michigan.  It is a definite blow for 11th ranked Iowa that could affect their results at the sportsbook.  Chaney had been doing a fine job returning kicks and punts this sportsbetting season and will be missed.  He also had seven catches for 50 yards this sportsbetting season.

Iowa is actually a 2.5 point road sportsbetting underdog at Wisconsin this week in a game that can be seen on ESPN. The Hawkeyes have had a brutal schedule this college football betting season but remain unbeaten. It doesn’t get much easier either as later in the sports betting online season they have to travel to Ohio State for a key sports betting online matchup that may decide the Big 10 title. Ohio State and Iowa are definitely the two top teams in the Big 10 Conference so far this sportsbetting year but both teams are dealing with injuries.
