The best rivalry in online sports betting college hoops will be shown in prime time on CBS television this season as Duke takes on North Carolina. The two teams have battled in prime time before but never on network television. In the past it was ESPN or ESPN 2 that broadcast the game in prime time but next season in offshore sports betting it will be CBS showing the game.
Online sports betting odds will be very close on the matchup between Duke and North Carolina for the CBS game. Duke is the defending national champion and they are favored again in 2010-2011. North Carolina returns a lot of talent as well and they should be much improved from last season. The game on Saturday, March 5th on CBS will have Duke at North Carolina so the Tar Heels will have the home court edge, making the expected college basketball line very small.
Duke returns a lot of talent for this college basketball season but they will be missing three players as Jon Scheyer, Brian Zoubek and Lance Thomas graduated. Head coach Mike Krzyzewski will miss the veteran leadership but he knows that he returns a lot of talent. Duke still has Kyle Singler to lead the way and they have some great additions coming in to play including freshman point guard Kyrie Irving. It is expected that Irving will push the ball up the floor which means Duke is going to be doing a lot more scoring and playing a faster paced game than last season. Nolan Smith also returns for Duke and they get Seth Curry this season as he becomes eligible. Duke’s offense is going to be very difficult to stop this season.
North Carolina is coming off the worst season in the career of Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams. North Carolina went from winning the 2009 title to missing the NCAA tourney last season. The Tar Heels have a lot of incoming talent for the 2010-2001 seasons including small forward Harrison Barnes. North Carolina should be a factor again in the ACC this season and the offshore sports betting game against Duke in March could be a key one in the battle for the top spot in the conference.
