Online Sports Betting – Michigan Fires Rodriguez and fans are furious.  One of the biggest disappointments in online sports betting this past year was the Michigan Wolverines.  The football team has been a failure in recent years and the school has decided to make a change as they fired head coach Rich Rodriguez.  Michigan was humiliated in offshore sports betting as they were blown off the map by Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl and that ended a terrible year vs. the number for Michigan.

Rodriguez 15-22 at Michigan
The Wolverines were very poor under Rodriguez.  He came to Michigan from West Virginia and promised a lot and delivered nothing. His Michigan teams were 6-18 in Big Ten games and his teams were a disaster in rivalry games as they went 0-6 against Ohio State and Michigan State. Michigan was 2-11 versus ranked teams under Rodriguez.  That type of failure was not going to be tolerated at Michigan any longer. This year the Wolverines finished at 7-6 after their bowl loss.

Losses On and Off the Field
The losses on the field were a big problem but problems off the field also were a major concern under Rodriguez.  The NCAA disciplined Michigan for some practice and training violations that occurred under Rodriguez.  When a coach is not winning games and also has problems off the field he is in serious trouble and the end finally came for Rodriguez at Michigan.

Michigan 3-10 ATS
The Wolverines were a disgrace this season against the online sports betting point spread as they went 3-10. They were one of the worst teams in all of college football to make a wager on.  Michigan still has the marquee name but they have done nothing in recent years to give gamblers much hope.  A team that goes 7-6 straight up but 3-10 against the offshore sports betting number is definitely not one that gamblers want to be wagering on at SBG.  Rodriguez did a rotten job of coaching at Michigan. He was supposed to bring a winning atmosphere to Ann Arbor and instead he turned a respectable program with a tradition of winning into an afterthought in the Big 10.  How can a Big 10 team be one of the worst teams in all of college football on defense?  It goes back to coaching and Rodriguez takes the blame.
