Online sports betting on March Madness is just around the corner and the bubble watch for which teams make it and which teams do not has begun. You might be shocked at some of the teams that are not going to be on the offshore sports betting board for this year’s NCAA Tournament.
Online sports betting bubble watch begins with the ACC. Three teams are going to make it for sure with Duke, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest. Maryland looks good while Clemson, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Virginia are all on the bubble. Notice that North Carolina is not on that list. They are not going to make the NCAA Tournament unless they win the ACC tourney and that is highly unlikely. Just a year ago the Tar Heels won it all and this year they won’t even make it.
The Atlantic 10 is going to get Temple into the tournament and they probably will get Rhode Island. Xavier, Richmond, Dayton and Charlotte are on the bubble. The Big East is simply loaded in offshore sports betting. They are the best online sports betting college basketball conference. They already have five teams for sure in the tournament with Syracuse, Villanova, West Virginia, Georgetown and Pittsburgh. Louisville is probably going to go and there are a bunch of bubble teams in offshore sports betting. Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Connecticut, South Florida and Marquette are all in the running. The Big 10 has their solid four and three bubble teams. Purdue, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin are in with Minnesota, Illinois and Northwestern on the online sports betting bubble.
The Big 12 has Kansas, Texas and Kansas State with Texas A&M looking good. Offshore sports betting had Baylor, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Texas Tech and Oklahoma all on the bubble. Conference USA has no locks and it could be a one-bid league although UAB is close. Tulsa and UTEP are barely on the bubble while Memphis and Marshall need help. The Missouri Valley has Northern Iowa in and Wichita State on the bubble. Online sports betting had the Mountain West with BYU and New Mexico while UNLV and San Diego State have a shot. The Pac-10 is probably not getting anyone other than the Pac-10 tourney winner. The SEC has Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt with Florida, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Mississippi on the bubble. Online sports betting had the West Coast with Gonzaga in and St. Mary’s on the bubble.
Teams from other conferences that look good in online sports betting are Butler, Cornell, Siena, Old Dominion, Utah State and VCU.
