Oregon State Extends Head Coach Riley Online Sports Betting

Online sports betting had Oregon State football coach Mike Riley agreeing to a three-year contract extension with the school that takes him through 2019. The timing of the announcement is almost as important as the sportsbetting news itself since Riley has been prominently mentioned as a candidate for the now vacant USC head coaching job.

Online sports betting had Riley getting a lot of money to stay with Oregon State.  The extension ends online sports betting speculation that Riley might go to USC. “Due to the fact there is a lot of speculation on my future, I want to make it known that I’m very excited to be coaching at Oregon State University and I anticipate doing so for a long time,” Riley said.

Riley is highly respected in the coaching profession. He has been at Oregon State since 2003 and has led the Beavers to six bowl games, five of those wins.  Riley has had two stints with Oregon State as online sports betting noted.  He coached the Beavers 11 years ago but then left for San Diego.  He came back to the Beavers and has had Oregon State as a major online sports betting success ever since.

Online sports betting had seen Oregon St win eight, nine, nine and ten games in the past four years.  In the past two online sports betting years, the Beavers have almost made the Rose Bowl.  Perhaps 2010 will be the sportsbetting season that Oregon State takes the next step and wins the Pac-10. There is no question that USC is not going to be a sportsbetting power anymore in the Pac-10 without Pete Carroll at the helm.  That opens things up for Oregon St and for Oregon in terms of online sports betting. The Beavers have an excellent head coach and a lot of returning talent.  The future looks bright for Riley and Oregon St as online sports betting has it.

Oregon St did lose the Holiday Bowl to BYU but that game was a letdown situation in online sports betting since Oregon State didn’t make the Rose Bowl.  The Beavers finished the season at 8-5 straight up and 7-5 against the sportsbetting odds.  Oregon St should be a popular team in online sports betting in the 2010 college football season and having Riley as the head coach definitely helps their cause.
