Sports betting had gotten down to the final eight teams in the African Cup of Nations and now quarterfinals play will begin next week. Cameroon came from behind to get a 2-2 draw with Tunisia on Thursday to make the quarterfinals. Zambia was the other team to advance in Internet sports betting from Group D.
Sports betting in the quarterfinals could favor Egypt as they won Group C to advance to the quarterfinals. Nigeria is the other team from Group C to make the quarterfinals. Egypt is unbeaten in their last 16 matches in the African Cup of Nations so they are going to be tough in sports betting.

African Cup of Nations quarterfinal play begins on Sunday as Angola faces Ghana and Ivory Coast plays Algeria. The match between Angola and Ghana is a tough one to predict in sports betting as Angola is a slight favorite. In the other match, Ivory Coast is heavily favored in sports betting against Algeria. This is now the knockout round so a bad performance means you are going home. Monday’s action should be very interesting in sports betting as Egypt faces Cameroon. There should be some excellent quarterfinal matches in Internet sports betting.
