Blackpool hoping to be Respectable: Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is hoping that his squad doesn’t get embarrassed at Arsenal on Saturday. He knows his team will face a far stiffer test than last week when Wigan was a disgrace. Blackpool was given virtually no chance this season to do anything but they shocked Wigan 4-0 last week. New signing Marlon Harewood had two goals last week in the rout. Blackpool got a little help on Wednesday with the addition of Israel’s Dekel Keinan. The 25-year old defender has been granted a work permit and he could see action on Saturday.
Elsewhere: Also on Saturday in Premier League action it is Blackburn at Birmingham, Wolverhampton at Everton, Tottenham at Stoke, Sunderland at West Bromwich, Bolton at West Ham and Chelsea at Wigan. Sunday’s action has Aston Villa at Newcastle United and Manchester United at Fulham. Monday’s game will be on ESPN 2 as Liverpool is at Manchester City.
