Sports Betting Page – Eight Big East Teams in Top 25. When you look at the Top 25 college basketball poll on the sports betting page you will notice eight teams from the Big East Conference in the Top 25. That is an impressive number, especially when two of the teams are in the top five. Duke is still #1 though but the Big East overall is stronger in sports betting.
The ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ poll has Duke at number one followed by Ohio State, Kansas, Syracuse and Pittsburgh. Duke got all 31-first place votes again. The Blue Devils have been a unanimous pick at #1 for six straight weeks. There are seven unbeaten teams in the Top 25 including Cincinnati who made it into the Top 25 for the first time this season at #25.

This Week
There are a lot of Top 25 teams in action this week but there are only four games where both teams are ranked. That will be the exception and not the rule as the season progresses as nearly every week in the Big East and Big 10 there will be big games on tap. Tuesday, January 4th
#9 Connecticut at #15 Notre Dame – The Huskies will try and bounce back from their first loss of the season but they are underdogs at Notre Dame and the sports betting page.
Saturday, January 8th
#9 Connecticut at #12 Texas – ESPN – It doesn’t get any easier for UConn on Saturday as they step out of conference to battle the Longhorns.
Sunday, January 9th
#21 Minnesota at #2 Ohio State – The Gophers will try and give the Buckeyes a game but Ohio State will be heavily favored at home.
#25 Cincinnati at #7 Villanova – This could be where Cincinnati suffers their first defeat of the season.
