The MLS playoffs are down to the conference semifinals with soccer odds on the board on the sports betting page. The Los Angeles Galaxy lead their semifinal series against the Seattle Sounders after winning 1-0 in sports betting on Sunday at Seattle. The Galaxy will play the second game of the two-game aggregate goals series at home on Sunday.
Edson Buddle
The second leading scorer in the MLS got the game winner for Los Angeles on Sunday. Edson Buddle scored in the 38th minute for the only goal in a 1-0 win for the Galaxy. It was the third playoff goal for Buddle in his career with the Galaxy. The Galaxy got a strong game in goal from Donovan Ricketts who finished with eight saves. You can make a case that Seattle actually outplayed the Galaxy in the game but Ricketts made the difference in goals.
Galaxy Favored on Sunday
The Galaxy had the best record in the league and they are favored in soccer odds at Sbg global.com to beat Seattle on Sunday and advance to the Western Conference final. If the Galaxy gets a win or a tie they would advance. The Sounders would have to win by two goals to advance. If Seattle wins by one goal then there would be an overtime to decide who goes to the final.
Colorado, Dallas and New York Lead
In the other three series it is Colorado, Dallas and New York who lead. Colorado got a 1-0 win at home against Columbus last Thursday. Dallas got a 2-1 home win against Real Salt Lake while New York won 1-0 on the road at San Jose. New York will now host San Jose on Thursday and they will just need a win or a tie to advance and that looks like a given based on their recent play. Saturday’s matches have Columbus hosting Colorado in a match they have to win to have any chance of advancing while Real Salt Lake hosts Dallas in a match they have to win. Colorado really had a chance to put away Columbus in the first game but missed many chances so Columbus has a good chance to advance as they are at home and favored in soccer odds that you can see on the sports betting page
