Sports Betting Website – NASCAR at Fontana this Weekend

Sports Betting Website – NASCAR at Fontana this Weekend. Stop me if you have heard this one before at the sports betting website. Jimmie Johnson is favored to win a NASCAR race. Yes, Johnson is the favorite again this week as NASCAR goes to Fontana, California for the Pepsi Max 400 on Sunday.  Johnson is a solid favorite in sports betting with his odds at Sbg global listed at +250.

Johnson has a slight lead in the points lead in the Chase but it is really wide open.  This is a big race for Johnson because of his past success at Fontana. He has won five times at the track and has a ridiculous average finish of 5.5 in 15 races.

Biffle and Edwards +750 – The co-second choices this week are Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards. Last week Biffle got a win so perhaps he has some momentum heading into this week’s race. Edwards has been very good at Fontana with a win and six top fives in 12 races. His average finish is 7.2. It is somewhat of a mystery as to why Biffle is the co-favorite. He has just one win in 15 races at Fontana and his average finish is 16.8. Maybe he can win back-to-back races in the Chase but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Hamlin Struggles in California – You might like Denny Hamlin since he is second in the point’s race but he has sucked at Fontana. He has just one top five finish in nine races. Another driver to avoid is Kevin Harvick who has an average finish of 17.7 in 16 races at Fontana. Jeff Burton is another driver who has done nothing but lose at California. Tony Stewart doesn’t win here either with an average finish of 14.9 and Clint Bowyer probably won’t be a factor either.

Don’t Forget about Jeff Gordon – You don’t want to forget about Jeff Gordon in California. He has three wins at the track and 10 top five finishes in 20 races. He is 10-1 at the sports betting website.

Other Contenders – Kurt Busch has a win and four top five finishes in 16 races at Fontana. His brother Kyle has one win and four top five finishes in 12 races. Kyle is 10-1 while Kurt is 12-1.  Matt Kenseth has three wins in 17 races at California and he could be worth a shot at odds of 14-1.

A total of 12 different drivers have won at Fontana. Jimmie Johnson leads all drivers with five wins while Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth each have won three races. Only once at Fontana has the race been won by the pole sitter.
