Sports Betting Website – Yankees will Have to Win Without A-Rod

Don’t worry, the New York Yankees are still going to be favored at the sports betting website even without third baseman Alex Rodriguez in the lineup. The Yankees placed their slugger on the 15-day disabled list because he has a strained left calf.  The Yankees haven’t missed A-Rod at all this season as they are 12-0 vs. the odds at sports betting companies when he is out.

Sports betting website odds at Sbg global won’t be adjusted very much with Rodriguez out of the lineup. New York is still loaded with talent and they have proven they can win without A-Rod in the lineup.  He will be out until at least the first week of September.

The Yankees have used the roster spot to call up pitcher Ivan Nova who was scheduled to start in Toronto. A-Rod’s Replacements:  The two players that will fill in at third base for New York while Rodriguez is out are Eduardo Nunez and Ramiro Pena.  Nunez had a big hit in Saturday’s win. Neither of those two players is known for their hitting.

Pena has seen some playing time when A-Rod has been out and he is just hitting around .200.  Nunez is a minor league call-up but he is really thought of as just a utility infielder right now.

Numbers:  It is really surprising that the Yankees have done so well without A-Rod in the lineup.  Rodriguez is second in the American League in RBIs but the Yankees are averaging over 8 runs per game without him in the lineup and five runs when he plays.  After Sunday’s win their record without A-Rod in the lineup is now 12-0.

Upcoming Schedule:  The Yankees head out on the road for six games as they play at Toronto and Chicago.  Both of those teams can hit so it is very unlikely that the Yankees will continue to remain perfect without A-Rod in the lineup.  New York then comes home for 10 games before starting a road trip at Texas on September 10th.

They will hope to have A-Rod for that trip as it will be difficult with games against the AL West leading Rangers and against Tampa Bay who they are fighting with for the AL East title.
