Ottawa has also won six straight on the road and that is another sportsbook shocker. Ottawa is actually within striking distance of the first place Sabres in the Northeast Division. “It is impressive,” said captain Daniel Alfredsson, “I don’t think we expected this from ourselves, either.”
The Senators have not lost since mid-January when Atlanta beat them. Elliott has simply been great for the Senators during the streak. “Els has been phenomenal,” Ottawa’s Jason Spezza said. “He was probably the reason why we won. He kept us in that game.”

It is getting tough for the sportsbook to make odds high enough on Washington. The sportsbook hasn’t reacted as quick to Boston’s losing streak since the Bruins are still considered a good team.
