Everton Looking to Sign Landon Donovan Sportsbooks Betting

Sportsbooks betting has seen Everton flounder in the Premier League this season but the team is looking to do something about their poor start by signing Los Angeles Galaxy striker Landon Donovan on a short-term loan. Everton has no shot to win the Premier League this season as sportsbooks indicate but they do need to start playing better to avoid relegation danger.

Sportsbooks betting odds with Everton could be affected if they sign a player as talented as Donovan. “Landon is a player David Moyes has identified as someone he would like to bring to the club,” Everton chief executive Robert Elstone said, “We are working to make that happen and hope we can reach agreement soon with all the appropriate parties.” Donovan could be looking to sign with Everton since that would keep him in shape for next sportsbooks season in the MLS and ahead of next year’s World Cup. Donovan’s teammate David Beckham has a similar deal with AC Milan.

Donovan has been the star soccer player for the United States for many years. He has a U.S. record 42 goals in 120 internationals. He has not, however, had much success in Europe in his career. He signed with Bayern Leverkusen at age 16 but didn’t even play for a couple of years. He went back to the team many years later but still didn’t get much playing time. He made just five appearances in the Bundesliga and one German Cup appearance for Bayern Munich.

Everton really needs to make a move if they want to start winning sportsbooks betting matches. Donovan could be a major help in sportsbooks betting. Sportsbooks show that if a deal is worked out, Donovan would join the Blues on January 2nd. Everton could immediately put him into the lineup on the wing or as an attacking midfielder. Donovan won the MLS MVP award this past sportsbooks betting season.

Heading into this weekend’s sportsbooks betting Premier League action, Everton had just 16 points which was only three points out of the relegation zone. There is definitely no time to waste for Everton as they didn’t expect to be in this position. Sportsbooks show that at home this season Everton has two wins, two losses and four draws. On the road they have been a mess in soccer betting with two wins and five losses in sportsbooks betting.
