Kansas Leads ESPN/USA Today Top 25 Online Sportsbooks. Online sportbooks are going to be favoring the Kansas Jayhawks a lot this college basketball season. Kansas is the #1 team in the latest ESPN/USA Today men’s college basketball poll. The Jayhawks were able to escape last week against Memphis although they did not cover the spread at the Internet sportsbook in their 57-55 win.
Online sportbooks indicate that Michigan State is #2 in the poll followed by Texas, Villanova and Kentucky. The Top 5 was shaken up though as North Carolina was routed by Syracuse in online sportbooks odds. The Tar Heels fell all the way out of the Top 10 after being #4 while Syracuse jumped up from #24 to #9.
Purdue begins the second five at #6 as online sportbooks show. The Boilermakers got wins against South Dakota State and Saint Joseph’s last week. Duke is at #7 in the poll as online sportbooks indicate. West Virginia is at #8. The Mountaineers will start getting more attention as they start to play more games. They have had a light early schedule as Internet sportsbook notes. Syracuse is #9 followed by Butler at #10. Tennessee is a dangerous team at #11 and they will get online sportbooks attention all season. North Carolina fell to #12 while Connecticut is #13. The Huskies have not been impressive so far in odds at online sportbooks and they will get a big test this week against LSU.
Washington is #14 while Michigan is #15. The Wolverines have an interesting game this week in online sportbooks odds as they face Creighton. Louisville is at #16 while Minnesota and Ohio State are 17th and 18th. Clemson is 19th while Georgetown is at #20. The Hoyas have played excellent defense this Internet sportsbook season and could be a team to watch in the Big East. Illinois is at #21 while Maryland is 22nd. California has had a tough start to the online sportbooks season and they have dropped to #23. Vanderbilt is 24th while Georgia Tech is 25th.
