Getting Kobe signed to an extension probably means he will end his career with the team. Sportsbook statistics indicate that he is averaging 27.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists this season. The Lakers have won four NBA titles with Kobe on the team. He is the Lakers all-time leading scorer and he is 12th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

He is a 12-time All-Star and won the league MVP in 2008. The online sportsbook lists Los Angeles as the favorite to win the Western Conference this season. The Lakers are co-favorites with Cleveland to win the NBA title at the sportsbook. Los Angeles will be the top seed in the Western Conference in the playoffs but they are likely to finish behind Cleveland for the top overall record in the league.
