This Saturday the Online sportbook at SBG Global has opening odds for those who Bet on College football for a game that can mean so much for both teams in their Conference standings as well as their BCS rankings as the #1 Alabama CRIMSON TIDE (11-0, 7-0 1st SEC West) take on the charging #4 Auburn TIGERS (10-1, 6-1 2nd SEC West) with kick-off at 3:30 pm ET on CBS TV and being played at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama with weather sunny and cool. This game is known as the Iron bowl!
This Thanksgiving weekend game is projected as the biggest game of the 2013 college football season with a lot to lose for either team as it is each team last game of the season with the winner facing South Carolina or Missouri for the SEC Championship Title game.
The #1 Alabama Crimson Tide have not lost a game since Nov.10th of last year and they are shooting for a win this game, then the SEC Title and then on to win their 4th National Title in the last five years. If we look at past records that would indicate that Bama should not have any trouble winning this game since they have beaten Auburn 4 of 6 times under Coach Saban. Through this season Bama has been favored in all their Online Sportbook games by at least 14 points with the exception of the Texas A&M game which they won 49-42.
In this game Auburn could have the best chance of winning at home against the Tide as their only loss this season was to #6 LSU who has defeated three ranked NCAA FB teams. The Tigers will be up against the nation’s best defense but may have an answer for that since they rank # 2 in the nation in their rushing game with some 320 yards average per game. Their QB Marshall is the teams second leading rusher with 823 yards and the first is RB Mason with some 1,153 yards on the ground. To win they must create their running game and control the clock in their favor. The Auburn Coach is very positive about this matchup and says the good thing is that the Tigers are presently playing good football and we have improved our game each week of the season in some manner and he likes their chances to beat the odds.
This should be an outstanding game with both teams having a lot to lose, so may the best team win and we wish a lotta luck to both the Tide and the Tigers Saturday!
